![]() Fortunately the contents seem acceptable (and despite the hype- "same old same old") but so far nothing exceptional. The driver had forced our side door and then not shut it so not only was the case available to any intrepid passer by but so was our back garden etc. The case arrived despite being delivered by Yodel. Even so not a bad reduction but comparable to virgin wines, newspaper wine clubs, laithwaites etc. Given an introductory voucher for £60- of course there is a catch since you have to spend a notional £99 to redeem the voucher and- guess what- there are no cases at that mark so the one we got was £115. I later recalled I had had the same issue before with them some years back.Ĭlever voucher scheme to get you interested, bombardment of emails as soon as you've ordered ![]() Very very very poor service- bad marketing totally undermines the whole concept. Im still waiting to be taken off list before I get to position 1 and they start charging my card. So they have my card details and Imon an exclusive wiaitng list, but when i contact them they have no idea how to find me on this list. None of this would matter if when you contacted them from this so called exclusive waiting list, but when you contact them they have no record of who is on the list (despite their emails giving you a number on the list (so you can be 600th on the list for example). Total rubbish- the link that ties you to this is not at all clear - you think you are clicking for more information. ![]() Unclear links and emails from NW then end up adding me a "ridiculous" waiting list to become an "angel" whereupon they would take a monthly sum from my card account. Was given a voucher by East Coast Trains which could be fully redeemed with no other purchases needed (All OK) but card details needed by Naked Wines to confirm over 18. Just would be nice if they made it that simple and clear rather than the marketing scam. Actually if you want to pay £20 a month for your wine ten go ahead. It's a rather sneaky cynical way of marketing legal contracts and cooling off period sounds like an exclusive waiting list. I shall be keeping an eye on my bank cards. I did this and my membership has been cancelled. Contrary to other advice from naked wines reps you are not told you can cancel this online you must phone them according to the email. I only discovered this when reading one to the almost daily emails which mentioned I would loose £20 for my first months payment. In other word becoming a tasting angel is just another way of saying you are signing up to a subscription member contract and the 30 days = 28 legal contract cooling off period. Somehow miraculously you will jump up the queue and become an Angel in exactly 30 days. I can only give them the benefit of the doubt that it is obvious but in my opinion they add the sneaky small print and this then adds you to the exclusive waiting list to become an Angel. I was given a voucher to buy the wine, but at the checkout you are offered a free bottle. I bought some wines at non-angel prices, which is far too high for the quality of wine, the angle price is probably about market average. To increase customer satisfaction it may be wise to work on the communication towards customers to give a better picture of what Naked Wines really is.I am calling shenanigans on the Angle joining scheme. The biggest problem with Naked Wines is that their customers expect more or different things compared to what they can offer. The topic is actually a positive driver for the overall grade with an average of 4,42 / 5. Apart from this, the general opinion about “customer service” is pretty good. They then feel that they have been unfairly charged. The biggest issue seems to be that a few customers have emailed requests to cancel their subscriptions. The average grade for “email” is 3,23 / 5. The topic “email” is also a negative driver for the overall grade. The average grade for “voucher” is 3,13 / 5 and the overall average grade is 4,11 / 5. Free vouchers should be positive but this negative relation implies that customers feel deceived by the vouchers. ![]() The topic “voucher” is more negative when in relation to the topic “free”. One customer says that you need to pay about 80£ even though the voucher is said to be free. The 100£ voucher is mentioned in 35% of all reviews concerning the topic “voucher”. It’s especially the 100£ voucher that is problematic. Some customers feel like the vouchers are scams. Is this system something that the customers enjoy aswell? Why do we say this? They call the subscribers ‘ angels’ and with the monthly payments, they can invest in independent winemakers and provide a wide range of different wines to the ‘angels’. Naked Wines is a company that sells wine through the unique form of making customers subscribe to their services.
